Release of the CD “Live free or die”. Participation in the Pullman City Country Awards with Jeffrey Backus. 2nd place in the category “Duo”. Foundation of Backus & Cole.
Start to produce new songs for the CD: “The dark years” with Mike McClain. Training as a sound engineer. First trip to Iraq for a concert for the german“Bundeswehr” forces and Allies Troups.
Beginning of the “No welcome project” and creation of the song “No welcome band”. Founding of Heartland Musicproduction, as well as the label JesCoRecords. Participation in the band contest SPH in Berlin.
Further concerts in Iraq and Afghanistan for the “Bundeswehr” and Allies Forces. Release of the CD: “Unplugged session” and the EP: “Secrets of love”. Beginning of collaboration with Texan songwriter Laura Beth Plumlee and the release of the song “He loved to watch her”.
